Does ThyroBase contain iodine?
We never add iodine, kelp or iodised salt. The only iodine present is a trace that comes naturally from the greens, chiefly spirulina, a freshwater algae rather than a sea vegetable like kelp. A test will still detect it because it comes from real food, but nothing is added on top of it.

Yes. ThyroBase is designed to sit alongside your thyroid medication, never instead of it. The AM serve is timed for at least 4 hours after your medication, since it contains minerals that can interfere with absorption if taken too close together. As with anything you add, keep your prescriber informed.
What's the difference between this and the System?
