Standard thyroid care is built around one number: TSH, adjusted until it sits in range. When it does, the appointment is usually called a success. But TSH doesn’t show your Free T3 (the active hormone your cells use), how well your body converts hormone into that active form, or your nutrient status, and none of that shows up on a standard panel.
